Mr Electrician operates 31 electrical contracting branches in Ireland. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller for information you submit through this website.
When you submit an enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address if you provide one, the town you are in, the service you are asking about and your message. When you call us we keep a record of the call and the work discussed. We do not collect payment card details through this website.
To respond to your enquiry, quote for work, carry out and certify that work, and keep the records we are required to keep for certification, insurance and tax purposes. We rely on your consent for the initial contact and on legitimate interest and legal obligation for the records that follow.
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed electrical work, including test results and certificates, are retained for as long as the certification remains relevant and for at least six years for tax and insurance purposes.
Our website host, our email provider and our accounting software, each acting as a processor on our instructions. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
